We are one of three chapters of the New Mexico Vine and Wine Society, which is a non-profit, volunteer organization. Its mission is to spread recognition of, and appreciation for, New Mexico grape growers, wine makers and wine enthusiasts. 

 

As the Northern Rio Grande Chapter of the New Mexico Vine and Wine Society, we focus on grape growing in our region around and north of Santa Fe. We meet 6 times a year, with members taking turns hosting at their homes. We try to make our meetings both fun and educational, usually alternating the focus of the meetings between tastings and technical demos or discussions. Each meeting includes a (delicious!) potluck meal.

Our Chapter has varied in size over the years but generally has around 35 - 40 members. Several of our members have won awards for their wines in New Mexico State (and other) wine competitions.
