May 2025 Event at El Alamo Winery
May’s event at El Alamo Winery was significant for a few reasons. Joseph Martinez, winemaker and founder of the winery and his staff were very gracious and presented a wide variety of wines for tasting. I believe that there were 15 wines available for tasting. Thank you, Joseph and staff! Tina, as usual, did an outstanding job of arranging the event and preparing the charcuterie table. Thanks Tina. The event was well attended with about 40 members and guests. On the down side I believe that 14 participants ended up with covid. Ick!
If you did not attend the event and are wondering about the giant cottonwood tree in some of the photos, I will leave it up to you to figure out the significance of the tree.
Once again Jan West took the photos. Thanks Jan.
I apologize to Mike and Tina for not staying to the end to help with the "breakdown". I have a lame excuse but It's too lame to even mention. As a matter of fact it is so lame I'm embarrassed to even think about it.
