I must say that our July, 2024 event was amazing. For me it was in the top 3 or 4 that I’ve attended, and I’ve attended over 60. Of course, a large part of the success of the event was due to Michele Padberg and Vivác Winery. Quoting Tina, “Michele gave us a fabulous, fun, and educational tasting. Her expertise as an International Wine Judge, Advanced Sommelier and Educator as well as Wine Writer was appreciated and enjoyed by all.” Based on the feedback that I received, everyone really enjoyed the wines and Michele’s witty presentation. I personally enjoyed all the wines that we tasted. For me, that is very unusual. Needless to say, the venue contributed greatly to the success of the event. Once again, I am compelled to quote Tina, “A very special thanks to our hosts, Robin and Alea for their warm hospitality and their beautiful Chama waterfront setting which made the event truly unforgettable! Thank you for all you two did to make this event so magical!” I think that I need to take writing lessons from Tina. The below photos were taken by Jan West.
